Info On Heart Disease and Strokes
The Stanford Heart Network (SHN) is operated by the Stanford Prevention Research Center at Stanford University School of Medicine. Its major purpose is to be a resource for doctors, nurses and other health professionals who provide heart disease prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services to specific populations of patients. These medical groups join SHN as "Members" in order to enhance the services and information they provide as part of their programs. Also, some Members participate in research projects with Stanford University and other Members by using the internet to collect and evaluate data collected from participants in their program.
Currently no information on heart disease is provided on this site for the public or participants who are not in a program offered by one of the SHN members.
